Grace for Greater Capacity

1 Corinthians 15:10“By the grace of God I am what I am.” — 1 Corinthians 15:10 (KJV).
Paul acknowledges that God’s grace shaped his life and ministry. He also speaks of abundant labour, while recognising that the grace of God was working with him. Grace and responsible effort belong together in his testimony.
Divine acceleration is not an invitation to passivity. God’s grace equips us to serve, learn, endure, and act. We depend upon Him while giving faithful attention to the work before us.
Greater capacity may require new understanding, healthier habits, or better cooperation with others. Ask the Lord to help you grow in these areas. Receive correction without shame, and develop the gifts He has entrusted to you.
Do not compare your assignment with another person’s pace. Grace is not a competition. The question is whether you are responding faithfully to the Lord in your own responsibilities.
When progress comes, remember its source. When the work is demanding, draw near for strength. You can labour wholeheartedly without claiming that everything rests on your ability. The God who has shown you grace can continue to sustain you as you serve.
Confession of Faith
Depend on God’s grace and give your best faithfully. Let capacity grow with humility.
