No More Condemnation

Romans 8:1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.
Condemnation is the painful verdict that says, “You are guilty, rejected and beyond restoration.” But for everyone who is in Christ, God has declared a new verdict: no condemnation.
Jesus did not merely cover your sins temporarily; He bore their full judgment on the cross. Every charge against you was placed upon Him, and the punishment you deserved was completely satisfied through His sacrifice.
“Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.” — Romans 8:33 (KJV)
The enemy may remind you of your past, but your past no longer determines your standing before God. Your standing is based on the finished work of Jesus Christ. You are justified, forgiven and accepted in the Beloved.
This does not mean the Holy Spirit will never correct you. There is a difference between conviction and condemnation. Conviction points out what is wrong and leads you back to God. Condemnation attacks your identity and drives you away from Him. The Holy Spirit corrects you as a beloved child; He does not condemn you as a rejected criminal.
When you fall, do not run away from God—run to Him. Confess your sin, receive His cleansing and continue walking in the light of His grace. Refuse to punish yourself for something Jesus has already paid for.
Stop introducing yourself by your failures. You are not what you did; you are who God says you are in Christ. You are forgiven. You are righteous. You are accepted. You are free.
Today, silence every voice of accusation with the truth of the gospel: Jesus bore your condemnation so that you could live in freedom.
It is finished.
