Forgiven Once and for All

Hebrews 10:14For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Under the Old Covenant, sacrifices were offered repeatedly because they could not permanently remove sin. But Jesus offered Himself as the perfect and final sacrifice for humanity. His blood accomplished what the blood of animals could never accomplish: complete forgiveness and eternal redemption.
When you received Jesus Christ, you were not partially forgiven. God forgave all your sins and brought you into a new relationship with Himself. You no longer stand before Him as a condemned sinner but as His justified and beloved child.
This does not give us permission to live carelessly. Instead, the revelation of God’s grace empowers us to reject sin and live in righteousness. When a believer falls, we acknowledge our wrong, receive God’s cleansing and return confidently to fellowship with Him. We do not need another sacrifice because the sacrifice of Jesus remains sufficient forever.
Stop allowing the memory of forgiven sins to keep you in condemnation. If God has forgiven you, you must refuse to remain imprisoned by guilt. The price has been paid, the record has been cleared, and your conscience can find rest in the finished work of Christ.
Walk today with the assurance that you are forgiven, accepted and reconciled to God through Jesus Christ.
Confession of Faith
Through the blood of Jesus Christ, I am forgiven and cleansed. The record of sin against me has been cancelled. I reject guilt and condemnation. I am accepted by God, established in righteousness and free to serve Him with a clean conscience. Amen.
