A New Creation Was Born

A New Creation Was Born devotional design
2 Corinthians 5:17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
The finished work of Jesus Christ did more than forgive your sins; it brought an end to your old spiritual identity and gave birth to an entirely new creation. When you received Christ, you were not merely repaired, improved or given another opportunity to manage your old life. You were born again by the Spirit of God. The new creation has a new nature, a new identity and a new relationship with God. Your past may contain mistakes and painful experiences, but it no longer defines who you are. In Christ, the old has passed away. You are now accepted, righteous and deeply loved by the Father. Begin to see yourself through the finished work of Christ. Refuse every condemning label that contradicts God’s Word. Renew your mind daily and allow your conduct to agree with your new identity. You are no longer a slave to sin, fear or condemnation. You are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to fulfil His purpose.

Prayer

Father, thank You for making me a new creation through the finished work of Jesus Christ. Help me to understand my new identity and live daily in its reality. I reject every label and limitation connected to my former life. Let the character and glory of Christ be revealed through me, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Confession of Faith

I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old has passed away, and all things have become new. I am forgiven, accepted and righteous before God. Sin, fear and condemnation have no dominion over me. I walk in the nature, power and purpose of my new life in Christ. Amen.
