The Perfect and Final Sacrifice
Hebrews 10:12–14But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God… For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified.
Under the Old Covenant, sacrifices were offered repeatedly because they could not permanently remove sin. But Jesus came as the perfect Lamb of God and offered Himself once and for all. His blood completely paid the price for sin, satisfied divine justice and opened the way for humanity to come boldly to God.
Jesus sat down at the right hand of God because the work was finished. Nothing needs to be added to His sacrifice, and nothing can improve upon it.
Your salvation rests upon the completed work of Jesus Christ. When you believe in Him, you are forgiven, accepted and made righteous before God. Stop trying to pay for what Jesus has already paid for. Come boldly to the Father, knowing that the perfect and final sacrifice has been made.

Father, thank You for the perfect and final sacrifice of Jesus Christ. I receive the forgiveness, righteousness and freedom purchased for me through His blood. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
