Growing in Wisdom and Grace

Luke 2:52; 2 Peter 3:18And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. — Luke 2:52
Spiritual growth does not happen accidentally. It requires a deliberate commitment to God’s Word, prayer and obedience to the Holy Spirit. Even Jesus, during His earthly life, increased in wisdom, stature and favour with God and people.
God does not want you to remain at the same spiritual level year after year. As you grow in grace, your understanding of God deepens, your character becomes more like Christ, and your decisions increasingly reflect divine wisdom.
Grace is not an excuse for spiritual laziness; it is God’s enabling power working within you. Wisdom teaches you how to apply what you have learned. When grace and wisdom work together, you become spiritually mature, fruitful and effective in fulfilling your purpose.
Make personal growth a daily priority. Study the Scriptures, receive correction, learn from your experiences and remain teachable. Never allow yesterday’s revelation to become the limit of today’s progress. There is always more to discover in Christ.
As you grow in wisdom and grace, your life will attract favour, produce godly results and become a blessing to others.
Confession of Faith
I am growing daily in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. The wisdom of God is increasing in my life. I am teachable, fruitful and spiritually mature. I increase in favour with God and people, and my life continually reveals the character of Christ, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
